Or try the taste test: If your water tastes sour or metallic, it’s likely acidic. If it’s bitter or “flat,” it might be alkaline. If it tastes like nothing at all? You’ve hit the jackpot.
For fun, test different waters in your house. Your morning coffee? Around 5.0 (acidic). Your filtered fridge water? Probably close to 7.0. Your kid’s bubble-blowing solution? Okay, don’t drink that.
