I once had ants that kept coming back, no matter what I did. I finally realized they were climbing up a tiny crack near the window. Sealing that crack with silicone caulk was the final boss move. They never returned.
So take a moment to look for entry points. Under doors, along baseboards, even around electrical outlets. Ants can squeeze through gaps as thin as a dime. Your job is to close their backstage entrance.
And remember, you’re not alone
We’ve all had that moment where we discovered a line of ants carrying off a single potato chip like a parade float. It’s annoying, but it’s also a little amazing. They’re just trying to survive, same as us.
But your home is your kingdom. You’re the queen (or king) of this castle. With a little vinegar, some patience, and maybe a dab of borax, you can send those tiny pioneers packing. You’ve got this—and your kitchen will thank you.
Now go enjoy that cup of coffee, crumb-free and ant-free. You’ve earned it.
