15. If allowed, listen to music as the background to your day.
Music soothes your mind and listening to a fun song can pump up your energy as you work to finish a task. If you’re writing, lyrics-free music can be a great way to settle into your “creative flow” state.

16. Plan ahead.
Take the last few minutes of your workday, before you pack up to leave, and look over tomorrow’s schedule. You might even make your to-do list for the next day, so that when you come in tomorrow, you will know exactly where you stand.

17. Sit down at dinner without a TV or electronic device at the ready.
Whether it’s just you at the table or the whole family, make mealtime solely about eating and talking. Keep this time sacred, knowing that it is healthy and wise to unplug from technology several times a day.

18. Make time for play.
Take a look at how you are spending your time and make sure there is enough room in your calendar to enjoy life. Dance around the living room by yourself or with the kids. Laugh a lot. Do something crafty. Anything that makes you really let loose and have some fun.
