15. Pumpkin Votive
You know those mini decorative pumpkins that you let rot on the kitchen table or front stoop every year? We’re putting them to better use this time around by hollowing them out so they can hold a votive candle! Sure, they’ll still rot on the table eventually, but they’ll be adorably decorative and functional in the meantime.
16. Make Your Own Vase
A hollowed out pumpkin can serve as vase for a fall colored flower arrangement. You can choose to have standing water in it or pick up some of that floral foam to stuff in your gourd prior to arranging your flowers.
17. Decorate with the Dead
Find some old, antiqued frames and replace the family pictures around your house with ones that are less…lively, shall we say? Feel free to decorate with cobwebs.
