Labor leader Cesar Chavez was a revolutionary and die-hard pacifist who proved that it’s possible to make big changes through non-violent protests like hunger strikes and boycotts. He spent his life fighting for the rights of migrant workers and succeeded in changing laws and uplifting a generation.
