9. Nausea.
Diabetes can cause you to feel nauseous for a variety of reasons. If you have regular bouts of nausea and/or vomiting, you should check with your doctor. If you are experiencing severe vomiting and nausea with other symptoms like excessive thirst or urination, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, or fruity-smelling breath—you may have diabetic ketoacidosis and should go to the nearest emergency room.

10. Frequent infections of bladder, vagina and skin.
This is a definite warning sign. For adults and children, bladder infections are not unusual but repeated infections warrant a visit to the doctor. And any pregnant woman should be checked immediately.
