According to Morgan Spurlock, documentary filmmaker, activists and producer, in a piece for Indiewire, “we have more access to nonfiction films than ever before, and today, more people are watching, sharing and talking about these films than at any other point in history.” He continues to say that documentaries are powerful because “the seeds they plant in the minds of audiences are the beginnings of a journey to turn us ALL into agents of change.”
