9. Murderball (2005)
Part sports story and part survival tale, this Academy award nominated documentary is, at its core, about athletes who defy the odds to achieve their dreams. It shares the story of the US quad rugby team as they take part in the 2004 Paralympics. The film is inspirational, exciting and brings attention to important issues faced daily by people suffering from quadriplegia.
