“Where the Wild Things Are” was written and illustrated by Maurice Sendak, and is considered to be one of the greatest children’s books of all time. First published back in 1963, the story has been republished many times and has been made into animated cartoons and, most recently, a 2009 feature film. Frankly, I thought that the film was kind of creepy, but the book is a true classic.
