What better way to celebrate July 4th than by visiting the Nation’s capital? Home to the free Smithsonian Museums, the White House and the Capital—DC hosts one of the nation’s largest fireworks displays. Fireworks light up the sky from behind the Washington Monument as thousands of spectators sit on the lawn. Not many July 4th getaways beat that!
