May is National Salad Month and as we get ready for swimsuit season and beach resort getaways (Anybody? No? Okay, we’re going to the pool with the kids too…), we’re eating lots of salads! With less than half of the United States population getting the nutrition they need from food, we’re all about boosting our intake of leafy greens and colorful veggies with some delicious and nutritious salads.

A study from the UCLA School of Public Health and LSU Health Sciences Center examined the diets of more than 17,000 adults. It found that eating salad is even healthier than we thought! That said, the perfect salad dressing is really what makes a salad so we found ten tropical salad dressing ideas that taste like the beachside vacation we’re dreaming of. Perhaps if we eat enough of these, we’ll be inspired to finally book one.
