Longer Method, Overnight Style. For this method of cold brew coffee, you’ll need to prepare your iced morning java the night before. You will need 1/3 cup ground coffee, 1 1/2 cups cold water, and a French press. Pour the ground coffee into the French press and add 1 1/2 cups of water. Gently stir the coffee with the water until well-blended. Place the French press lid on and make sure the plunger is in the up position. Steep the coffee overnight in the fridge and leave the plunger in the up position so the grounds infuse the water overnight. In the morning, plunge the French press to separate the liquid coffee from the grounds. Then fill a glass with the chilled, iced coffee (add ice cubes if you wish) and the milk (cow, rice, soy, almond, etc.) or sweeteners of your choice and stir it up.
