In September, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week took New York by storm with fresh, exuberant Spring 2015 collections. From Gwen Stefani’s return to the tents with her latest L.A.M.B. collection, a tribal print with a Jamaican vibe mashup, to Jenny Packham’s more sophisticated “Marilyn Undone” inspiration, it was a style extravaganza filled with unexpected moments and celebs galore. Opening Ceremony presented their collection in the form of a play written by Spike Jonze and Jonah Hill. Kendall Jenner is quickly becoming the new IT girl, Miley Cyrus showed up on the runway for her whacky collaboration with Jeremy Scott and sporting pasties at Alexander Wang’s after party.

Aside from the spectacle, much of the fashion was surprisingly wearable and there were a refreshing number of older (30+) models gracing the runways. Gwen Stefani describes L.A.M.B.’s evolution to Harper’s Bazaar: “I’m always trying to make clothes that I want to wear everyday, that I can actually wear, and that are simple enough for that. And I think that’s really really, hard to do, because it’s kind of easy to make that really cool, quirky, fancy piece, but then you wear it one time and it’s over. So I think that the collection really does have a lot of really great, simple pieces and I’m really excited about it.”

So are we! And here are 15 more Spring 2015 trends that we loved from New York  Fashion Week 2014 to get you excited too.

1. Fringe
Everything’s more fun with a little fringe. From perfectly deconstructed tattered hems to 70s hippie to modern flapper, fringe dominated the runways for spring.
