In France, Italy, Spain, and the United States the great pig has been celebrated for his versatility, sensuality, and salty decadence. Spiral ham, cured with salt or without is enjoyed by just about all the people of this beautiful country.

HONEY DIJON MUSTARD HAM

Ingredients:
¼ cup peeled garlic
1½ cups honey
½ cup Dijon mustard
8 lb. Spiral Ham
1 20 oz. can pineapple rings
1 jar of maraschino cherries

Instructions:

  1. Blend 1 cup honey with the garlic, and mustard. Cover the whole ham with the mixture and cook at 350° F for 1 hour.
  2. Glaze the ham with honey mixture, top with pineapple rings, and cherries using wooden sticks for them to stay in place.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes until the pineapple is browned a little.
  4. Serve with a side dish containing the delicious juices remaining in the pan.
