“I’m on my second pregnancy and feel obsessed with baby weight,” says Lynne*, a mother in her early 30s. After her first pregnancy, “I didn’t yet know how amazingly hard it would be to lose the weight.” And now her anxiety is all-consuming. “I think about my weight almost all day and night,” she says. “I feel the weight issue is getting in the way of my being completely excited about having a second baby.”
