The Niche Parent was founded by Nadia P. Jones aka Justice Jonesie. Attorney, mom, and veteran blogger. Nadia really is like no other (and she didn’t pay me to say that!). You can find her tweeting, supporting, and networking on a mission to expand the voices of parent bloggers from all ethnic backgrounds. She is the perfect example of a woman taking her dreams to the next level by pushing her limits and letting her voice be heard! She knows what it takes to engage with good content and she brings that force to NicheMommy and NicheParent.
This year’s social media conference will jumpstart with a bang, featuring a strong lineup of Moms and Dads who know exactly how to navigate the blogosphere! The conference will take place from September 5th-7th at The Westin Diplomat Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This conference promises to open doors for many within the blogging community, enabling us all to see that this is a massively growing space where there is room for all of us. Filled with strong speakers and hands-on, engaging panels, this conference will allow many of us small bloggers to take it to the next level. For instance, Mamiverse Editor-in-Chief Lorraine C. Ladish will be sharing her “Secrets to a Successful Freelancing Career.”
When I think about speaking at upcoming The Niche Parent Conference and the title of my panel, “Something Out of Nothing,” I get all warm and fuzzy inside. Fate has played a huge part in my blogging journey as I’ve made something out of nothing in my own little space on the internet. It just so happened last year I won tickets to the conference but was unable to attend and this year I am not only able to attend, I’m on a panel! While there are many bloggers who have more followers, better Google Analytics numbers and who have worked with more brands than I have, my heart has guided me and planted me in the place where I am today – a blogger striving to make a difference at MommyTeaches.com – and I couldn’t be happier.

I am honored to have spoken at Hispanicize in Miami earlier this year and now The Niche Parent Conference with my partner on the panel, Vanessa Bell, from Desumama.com. I have forged many great relationships while blogging and have worked with some amazing people along the way. The most exciting part of this journey is the connections we build. Mutual support and encouragement is priceless.
So, if you haven’t registered yet, I suggest you to do so, by clicking on this link to NicheParent13. Join us for our last twitter chat before the event on Wednesday, August 28th, as we mentally prepare ourselves for the continuation of our blogging journey. The conference will be a place where we network, share, uplift, encourage, dream and plan to make those dreams a reality. Don’t forget when tweeting prior to and throughout our conference to support it with the hashtag #NicheParent13.
I can’t wait to see you there!
