4. Be Grateful This one is especially helpful when you get up on the wrong side of the bed or are feeling especially overwhelmed. Spend a few minutes reflecting on all the great things and people in your life and let yourself feel grateful for those gifts. It’s almost impossible to be in a bad mood after that.
5. Breakfast with the Fam Make it a point to gather the whole family for a sit-down breakfast whenever possible. You don’t need to prepare a gourmet meal, just grab your cereal bowls and enjoy each other’s company before everyone heads off to work and school. It’s a great opportunity to check-in, do a little bonding and make sure you aren’t the only one feeling great about starting your day.
