Q: Which Puerto Rican poet is the writer behind the poem “Rio Grande de Loiza?”

A: Julia de Burgos. The Puerto-Rican born poet is known as one of the greatest poets—male or female—of Latina America. She is also known for her pieces Poema Para Mi Muerte, and is the namesake of the street Julia de Burgos Way in Harlem.
