3. Capias
In Puerto Rico wedding receptions feature a doll dressed in a replica of the bride’s gown, which is placed at the head of the table. Capias, or little favors, are pinned to it and the bride and groom present one to each guest, as a thank you for attending the wedding. The capias are usually small ribbons printed with the bride and groom’s names and decorated with a small paper flower or fern.
