10. The Candle Ceremony
There are a variety of ceremonies that celebrate the transformation from two individuals to one couple, but the Colombian Candle Ceremony is perhaps the loveliest. After the ring ceremony, the brid and groom each light a candle then, together they use their flames to light another larger candle before extinguishing their own. And just like that, two become one. The couple joins hands to hold the single candle while they enjoy their first dance.
