2. Don’t be Afraid of Failure
Failure is an absolutely necessary part of learning. Fear of failure—whether it is your own or your child’s—keeps you from trying new things. When your kid fails (and they will, we promise), teach them to recover quickly, brush it off, learn a lesson from it and move on.
