Okay, so they’re not exactly indoor plants, but window box plants and flowers brighten an apartment inside and out. These are a great solution for city dwellers jonesing for some nature. And if you plant geraniums in your window boxes, they keep mosquitos away! Herb plants like basil and parsley do great in window boxes, too.
