6. Baby on Board
If you have an infant under the age of two, remember to bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate. This will serve as identification and will validate their age for purposes of evacuation row procedures and ticket prices.

7. Where Does Baby Sit?
For airline safety, the FAA recommends that children under 20 lbs be seated in a car seat or CRS in a separate seat. Be sure your seat says “This restraint is certified for use in motor vehicles and aircraft,” or you may be required to check it. The perk for you is getting a break from holding your child on your lap for the whole flight.
