Not only will you have to pay to check a bag on many airlines nowadays, even if there is a fee you will likely be restricted to 50 lbs. If you do have heavier bags expect to pay a price, and it won’t be cheap—up to 100 dollars. Since it’s the holidays, you can also expect crowds at baggage claim.
5. Shoes On & Off
There is great news for people traveling with children 12 and under—while you have to wrestle with your lace-up boots that you forgot would be this impractical, kids can leave their shoes on during screening.
