AERIN is the luxury lifestyle brand from Aerin Lauder, granddaughter of beauty icon Estee Lauder. Her AERIN line includes beauty products, home decor and furnishings, and fashion accessories. I had a chance to sample several items from the AERIN fall beauty offerings, and I’m sold on the brand’s unpretentious elegance—which is sort of the epitome of Aerin Lauder herself.
Fall color palette Soft and supple hues are the highlight of this beautiful convenient compact. Three eye shadows complement each other and a soft beige blush looks beautifully natural. The colors are this season’s trends—smoky navy, and midnight shine. The promise is a polished and natural look that softly highlights the eyes. ($70)
My take: I love the compact. It’s easy to carry, beautifully encased and most importantly, the colors blend seamlessly. They are soft and not glittery, and can be worn day and night.

Kajal eyeliner AERIN’S kajal eyeliner in Skyline is a dark black, and can lightly define or intensify eyes, depending on how dramatic you want to go. ($28)
My take: I like that it is so soft and easy to apply. It glides on and lasts throughout the day without smudging.
Lipstick AERIN’s signature lipstick comes in two new shades for fall, created to soften lips and keep the canvas natural. ($30)
My take: I love how buttery the lipstick feels and the colors are not too pigmented. They glide on naturally.
Lipgloss Add these lip-glosses to your lipstick to plump up and enhance color or simply go bare to add a touch of natural soft shine. ($30)
My take: I love that the lip-glosses complement the lipsticks but you can also mix and match. They are not sticky, and come in easy, soft, elegant shades.
For me, the AERIN line is all about soft, laid back elegance. It’s an ideal choice for those who can’t do without make-up, but who also don’t want to look overdone.
