9. Have your kids make a summer travel journal.
If you’re staying home this summer, have them make a family scrapbook. Scrapbooking can be both therapeutic and educational. Kids will see pictures of themselves with friends and loved ones and enjoy assembling something to cherish and help them remember it all.
10. Have your kids recruit their friends and put on a play.
Because surely you haven’t heard enough renditions of ‘Let it Go’ yet, right? C’mon, it’ll be fun! And the kids will get a lesson in teamwork as well as the planning and leadership necessary to execute something like this.
